Steve Jobs The Pioneer and His Legacy

October 27th, 2011 posted by admin

When Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011, the world lost a visionary who left a legacy that has touched us all. Now matter if you are from South London and living in Croydon doing your office cleaning Croydon job or you live in Surrey, chances are you would have heard the name Steve Jobs and have used one of the many products his company has developed. Jobs has touched the lives of many worldwide.

Steve Jobs helped bring modern personal computing into the mainstream. It all started with the Apple I and the Apple II and it was the Apple II that brought computers into homes, schools and businesses. Personal computing didn’t become accessible until the Macintosh, with the mouse and graphical user interface.

Hand in hand with revolutionizing personal computers is his role in developing modern operating systems such as Mac OS and OS X, which emphasized the user experience.

The iPod and iTunes were game-changers in how we listen to, create, manage and buy music.

Steve’s vision, and demand for elegance and intuitive user experience also brought us the iPhone, which shattered the boundaries of what a phone can do. With the coming of apps, the iPhone became more than a phone.

He shattered boundaries again with the iPad tablet computer, which found so many uses in so many different contexts, and also helped change the way media (broadcast TV, movies, publishing) is distributed and consumed.

He built a brand and a company that is admired and valued worldwide. He backed up the well-designed products with enthusiastic showmanship, sharing his vision with us and inspiring us to think different and be original.

While Steve Jobs did not accomplish all of this, and more, alone, it is his vision, passion, brilliance and foresight that has made it all possible.
